Hello at all,
I would like to have a NFS client running on the N2100.
This would be very usefull in case you want access the N2100 from an PC with installed Windows and you want "merge" the shared directores on the N2100 with the Windows file system.
In order to do so you have to setup a NFS server on you Windows machine and you have to export empty directories via NFS. Here an example:
export c:\MyData
If now the NFS client on the N2100 mount this exports you will get a very elegant way of accessing the N2100 by browsing through c:\MyData with any file browser.
The other good thing is, that you do not need to create a dedicated network drive for each shared directory on the N2100. If for example you would like to handle your videos, your music and your other data in different directories on the N2100 you need to create 3 different networks drives. In my opinion this is PITA if you are focused on keeping the file structure simple.
