Hi,
I'm having a really strange problem with TwonkyMedia Server on the N5200Pro (FW 3.00.04.5).
I have had the problem for a long time, though the symptoms have occasionally been different. I'm currently running the TMS 5.1.3a module, though the problem occurs with the previous TMS module as well.
I only use TMS to stream to an XBOX 360. It works fine for all video and picture files. The problem is with music.
These are the problems that I have:
1. TMS only lists up to 975 "artists" (there should be 3,150).
2. Sometimes TMS lists fewer artists (like 300).
3. TMS crashes when I try to browse by genre.
4. TMS crashes when I try to browse playlists (whether or not there are playlists).
The peculiar thing is that it *did* list all 3,150 artists perfectly fine using the previous version of the TMS module. But, when I upgraded this problem started, and even if I reinstall the previous version the problem persists.
It also did not crash when I tried to browse genres on the previous version. It did crash when I tried to play playlists though.
I have suspected a lot of things causing the issue, though after much painstaking, I have eliminated the following:
1. FLAC files
2. Non alphanumeric characters
3. Multiple ID3 tags
4. Inconsistent ID3-APE tags
The problem therefore must be with the way TMS is communicating with the XBOX 360, or with the TMS module itself.
These are my questions:
1. Is there anyway to see what actual errors the TMS module is returning when it crashes?
2. Is there an alternative to play video and music on an XBOX360 directly from the N5200Pro?
Thank you.
Edit: This is a printout from the "INFO" module in case there is something in here that could be causing the N5200Pro to freak-out.
