Hi All,
I'm currently running an N5200 Pro with 5xSamsung Spinpoint F1 1GB drives. I'm currently running 2.00.11.2 (beta) firmware, and everything is working well and does just what I need.
However the drives are getting full and I need to enlarge/migrate to larger drives.
Samsung make a 2TB drive which I am tempted by, the HD203WI Spinpoint F3EG, has anyone tried this? Which firmware will I need?
If the Samsung won't work I could go for the 2TB Western Digital WD20EADS Caviar Green which is shown in the Thecus compatibility list for 2.00.16, but to be honest after the fiasco with the WD 400 and 500 gig RE2 drives which died left right and centre a couple of years ago I'd rather not!

I have had two 2TB Western Digital WD20EADS running in a Raid 1 for quite a few months without issue. Last week I upgraded the Raid 5 with three more 2TB Western Digital WD20EADS. So far so good. Just make sure you're on the latest firmware before expanding the Raid.
