Shares not available, web server unavailable, box is pingable, LED display is "frozen” - no scrolling display on status...
Running 3.00.06 - very basic setup, single partition, single public share.
The first time this happened I did a hard reset and ended up waiting a day and a half for my 16TB array to rebuild.
I need this thing back and fully functional ASAP - any suggestions on how to perform a graceful restart and avoid the rebuild process?
Nothing special happening during the malfunction - this box functions as a media server for my home and it was running smooth last night - this morning it was "hung".
Thanks, ee

Today I got this answer from Thecus Support: Dear Sir,
Thanks for your mail. We have released the firmware v3.00.07a to fix freeze issue. Please upgrade to this version is stable more than v3.00.06 and 3.00.07.

Thanks, ee You should be able to still login to the web interface and update the firmware to 3.00.08 and that will fix your problem or should. I had the same problem with mine after applying 3.00.06 so I looked for latest patch which was 3.00.08 at the time applied it and walla it came back now you will have to wait a little bit it will rebuild the array once you reboot. Hope this helps, Michael A Cooper

I can confirm that upgrading to firmware version 3.00.07a did the trick. System is running stable since then for more than 12 days. Upgraded to final release 3.00.08b today, everything fine so far
