"Numerous patches and bug fixes." Yeah, this is really why we should update Somebody is willing to take the risk and have an idea what has changed? I recently (accidentally because it was not mentioned in the change list at first) installed the beta 2.01.09 (now 2.01.10.12), so I'm the one who may ask

Yes, this is the new Ajax Interface If you want to know what is new, check this: www.thecus.com/Downloads/FW/N5500_N7700_N8800/N5500_FWRN_v30004.pdf. I took the plunge and upgraded as well. Definitely like the new Ajax interface and I made it look a bit nicer as well since I don't like Times New Roman font . Here's how: 1. Open the files /app/etc/webinfo/theme/css/ext-all.css and /app/etc/webinfo/theme/css/style.css in a text editor. 2. Find and replace "Times New Roman" with "Arial" 3. Save the files and hit the refresh button! Now it looks even cooler ;-). The only thing it screws up is the pages for the modules. It opens them in a new tab (Firefox) with an ugly layout, and when you press a button (e.g. download the config of the SSH module), it throws an error saying "Not Found The requested URL /unauth.htm was not found on this server." Still, I like it .

RAID volume encryption : AES 256 bits (Owing to CPU power, N5500, N7700, N7700SAS, N8800 and N8800SAS support this, but N5200PRO, N5200, 1U4500, and N4100PRO could not do it.)
If you upgrade a n5200pro to a celeron 2.0ghz, is that fast enough?

The only thing it screws up is the pages for the modules. It opens them in a new tab (Firefox) with an ugly layout, and when you press a button (e.g. download the config of the SSH module), it throws an error saying "Not Found The requested URL /unauth.htm was not found on this server." Thats because the check if the page is called from admin was changed in the new interface - I'm in the process of changing it for my modules. If some are interested I can post the code snipped for the new check. br Peter

Hi,
does iscsi work with the new Beta 3.0.0.04.5 Firmware?
I donĀ“t get iscsi work on my mac and the GlobalSAN iscsi connector. With firmware 2.0.x it was no problem.

Could anyone tell me if the kernel has been updated in this new release?
I'd like to run Virtualbox in my debian chroot environment, but the current version (2.6.13) makes that pretty much impossible.
I've tried searching for kernel versions on the n5200 wiki's and various fora, but no luck.
So if anyone could do a "uname -a" i'd really appreciate it.
Thanks
