My non-pro n5200 has started pestering me with emails telling me how I've reached 90% usage on the RAID array, or roughly 280GB free.
I'm planning on upgrading (from 5 x 750GB to 3 x 2TB), but the longer I can leave it, the cheaper the discs (obviously!).
At what stage does the usage start to cause problems, 90%, 95%? Or is it more about the actual GB free?
Cheers!

You should do something if You reach 90% - above 90% the linux filesystem becomes slow and inefficient. There is one user - however with a N8800 - and his box does not respond any more at a usage abopve 95% br Peter

Hmmm, well a little trimming might bring it back under 90% for another month or so I suppose Might save me a few quid!

Just for reference, I was a little late ordering the new HDDs, and I went to 96% usage without any problems or degradation in performance. Got everything backed up fine, and the new array is building as we speak.....
