Hello! when you say the mysql gui works fine, you mean that connects to the database server ok? I can see the mysql gui in a web browser and my database too. But I can't connect via MySQL Admin or my software (Imabas 7.2) I've got allways a MySQL Query error 2013: "Lost connection to MySQL server during query"Best regards, Thorsten

I'm having problems with the shutdown/reboot module. On the cmd window I get "ERROR: cannot reboot: Cannot copy sysdown script!" Any ideas what is going wrong here? I tried disabling/enabling the module but that didn't help The scripts have moved to a different folder with 2.01.09. So the module needs an update? Or can this be tinkered with via shell access?

Just wanted to report that the upgrade was a success... so far. I have Samsung Spinpoint F1 750GB drives, no iSCSI.

It is working on my perfectly, as a matter of fact this has to be the best firmware I have ever put on my 5200(non-pro) since I bought my Thecus 2 years ago!
Are you sure you've selected the right communication cable? Re-select it again and see if that fixes your problem.

Can anyone help document these new options with details re: what it does behind the scenes, what the effects/side effects for the user would be, typical scenarios of when you'd set one value or another?
Storage > Advance Option
"File Access Cache" "Samba Recycle Bin" "Samba Anonymous Login Authentication" "Samba Transfer to New UID" "Samba is Native Mode" "iSCSI Block size" "iSCSI CRC/Checksum" "Display Host Name On LCM"
This kind of info would be helpful as a sticky for the community.

Storage > Advance Option "File Access Cache" leaves used files in memory "Samba Recycle Bin" its a recycle bin, you need to unhide folders to see it in windows "Samba Anonymous Login Authentication" dunno "Samba Transfer to New UID" dunno "Samba is Native Mode" dunno "iSCSI Block size" dunno "iSCSI CRC/Checksum" dunno "Display Host Name On LCM" dunno either This kind of info would be helpful as a sticky for the community.

Hello! With the new FW 2.01.09 the nsync tasks makes 100% CPU stress. Similar the execute time is very long (factor 20x up to the 2.00.15). Best regards, Thorsten

Odd my APCUPSD 1.04.01 doesn't see my usb APC 1500 since the upgrade. The service starts and then shows stopped upon refresh. This is my experience as well, with my n5200pro. Here's some (hopefuly, useful?) debugging info: root@127.0.0.1:/raid/data/module/APCUPSD/system/sbin# ./apcupsd -b -d 5 apcupsd FATAL ERROR in linux-usb.c at line 609 Cannot find UPS device -- For a link to detailed USB trouble shooting information, please see <http://www.apcupsd.com/support.html>. root@127.0.0.1:/raid/data/module/APCUPSD/system/sbin# ./apctest -d 5 -b
2009-06-15 20:20:38 apctest 3.14.5 (10 January 2009) redhat Checking configuration ... Attached to driver: usb sharenet.type = DISABLE cable.type = USB_CABLE
You are using a USB cable type, so I'm entering USB test mode mode.type = USB_UPS Setting up the port ... apctest FATAL ERROR in linux-usb.c at line 609 Cannot find UPS device -- For a link to detailed USB trouble shooting information, please see <http://www.apcupsd.com/support.html>. apctest error termination completed root@127.0.0.1:/raid/data/module/APCUPSD/system/sbin# ./apcupsd -V apcupsd 3.14.5 (10 January 2009) redhat root@127.0.0.1:/raid/data/module/APCUPSD/system/sbin#
The UPS is an APC Back-UPS CS 650. It's a usb/usb UPS and I'm using the supplied cable plugged into the outermost rear port. It was working happily on FW 2.00.15. I have tried plug/unplug the cable and resetting the cable type a few times. Cheers, Alph

Odd my APCUPSD 1.04.01 doesn't see my usb APC 1500 since the upgrade. The service starts and then shows stopped upon refresh. Looks like Thecus removed the "usbhid" kernel module (actually, they did so) - allow me some time to fix this. /Falk

Updated APCUPSD to 1.04.02 - tests have been successful so far. /Falk
