Hmmm...makes me think the FW 2.00.15 should have been/stayed a beta version. Thats realy not the fault of Thecus - the new samba version (3.0.34) was released the day the new FW was released - and Samba 3.0.33 was released as stable release. br Peter

Hi, this is regarding using a N5200 (non-PRO) with firmware 2.00.15. We're a small education outfit and have been using the N5200 successfully on a mixed (Win/Mac) network for quite a while. (...except for the powersupply fan being noisy and on the way out) I recently upgraded the N5200 to the latest version from an older (~1 year) firmware. Everything seems to have gone well, but now I can no longer save certain files (mostly packages) from OS X 10.5 (Leopard, up-to-date) with the following message: "The alias "xxxxx.pkg" cannot be copied to the destination, perhaps because the destination does not support this type of alias." This has not happened with the older firmware, and the packages copied over prior to the upgrade are still perfectly readable and deletable. The current workaround is to zip/DMG each package which is rather annoying. My question is if other people have had a similar experience and/or if somebody has perhaps a solution. I suspect it may be related to the updated Samba version. Clarification: It only affects certain packages, and those that fail are partially copied, so I have a suspicion that it may be related to file/ folder naming or character encoding... P.S.: I tried to search for "Mac" or "OS X" on the forum first, but it won't let me with less than 4 characters
