A new firmware (no beta) ist available on the Thecus website. Firmware: www.thecus.com/Downloads/N5200_N5200PRO_FW_2.00.15.binRelease notes: www.thecus.com/Downloads/N5200_N5200PRO_1U4500_FWRN_v20015.pdfThis might resolve issues with the Samsung and Seagate high capacity drives. The bug fix section says: "Fixed the HDD detection issue when below HDD hot plugged in. - Seagate 750G, 1TB, and 1.5TB Note: N5200 doesn't support 1.5TB; just N5200PRO and 1U4500 support it. Please contact Seagate support to confirm the HDD firmware fits Linux software RAID or not. - Samsung 750G and 1TB" Who dares to try it?

What jumbo frames support issue are you referring to? Is it the inability to use jumbo frames on the LAN ports? Last year, when I emailed support, they said the BR vesion switch board is not capable of doing jumbo frames on the LAN ports... who knows? <shrug>

But since I have firewall and switches at home, there was no need for LAN port (for now), and the NAS runs single-legged off the WAN port.

I have N5200BR Pro and WAN port Jumbo Frames option is greyed-out. I am running latest firmware 2.00.15, but 2.00.08 firmware had same problem.
How can I enable Jumbo frames?

Thecus support had advised me to disable DHCP in order to enable Jumbo Frame support. I've the option greyed-out as well. I did not risk disabling DHCP. My "Jumbo Frame option" is still greyed-out.
