Problems.
I trued to install ubuntu on my thecus n1200 with some exceptions
like in the tutorial
thecus.nas-central.org/wiki/N1200_How_To_TFTP_Boot_Kernel_And_Ramdisk1-Firs i booted the foonas image
The i tried o connect to my thecus n1200 admin page.
this was my config
=> setenv serverip 192.168.1.99 (IP of tftp server)
=> setenv gatewayip 192.168.1.1 (default gateway)
=> setenv ipaddr 192.168.1.140 (IP of n1200)
=> saveenv (optional - saves config beyond reboot/shutdown)
i used a liksys router.
so after booting i tried 192.168.1.140 on my mozila and installed foonas from the web interface and i rebooted. Worked well
2- After that i installed ubuntu folowing your tutorial:
thecus.nas-central.org/wiki/Ubuntu_8.10_For_N12003- When booting ubuntu i get kernel panic
