Hello! Has anyone succeeded in mounting a shared SAMBA-Folder in Debian or any other Linux? whenever I try to mount my shares via smbfs or cifs, I can read the directories but not access the data on the box. What arguments do I have to tell my "mount" to make it work? I tried virtually every single parameter, still getting the same results (dmesg shows [173593.747271] Status code returned 0xc0000022 NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED [173593.748114] CIFS VFS: Send error in read = -13 ) No matter what user or password or guest or smbfs or cifs or linux_extensions and so on. Where is the problem? Thecus support btw is most unhelpful (they told me to mount it via NFS with an howto for the 5200...) kindest regards Lew Myschkin
