I installed it and now I can't access the file systems on the server. The webserver doesn't even seem to be functioning. The front panel display does have an "!" in the upper right corner The only information that looks suspicious on the display is this: DISK INFO:[000__] I can't remember if this is nominal as I've never paid attention to the display when everything was working correctly. Any ideas? How to solve the ! The u/right corner HBT log "!" does not mean anything, it can be removed by press [ESC] button and then keep pressing both [arrow down][enter] button at the same time. I have similar problems with 5x 750 MB Samsung SpinPoint since upgrading from 2.00.08 to 2.00.12.
THECUS: WE NEED A FIX FOR THIS ISSUE! FAST!
So, if you have Samsung 1 TB or 750 GB hard-disks: Stay at your current firmware (or upgrade to max. 2.00.08).

well, you should have everything on the RAID backed up anyway.... repeat after me, RAID IS NOT A BACKUP it's about availability.... not security.... so you make sure your backup is up to date and valid, you update the firmware, and if it hoses the system, you do a hard reset to the factory firmware, flash the last firmware that worked for you and restore your data from your backup.... clearly, if you know what you're doing, there's nothing to be afraid of. Thanks mum

Good Morning,
I have a problem after I have update the firmware from 2.0.10 to 2.0.12. In the Thecus I have 5 Seagate Barracuda Disks 1 TB (ST31000340NS Seagate Barracuda ES.2 1TB 32MB SATA-II installed, in RAID 5. Before I install the new firmware I dont have problem but after upgrade when I write files in The N5200PRO the file (1/2) result corrupt (file .tib of ATI, but I have other copy of this file). What can I do? It is possible is a problem of new firmware or is better I delete and recreate the raid? Thank you very much. Best regards-

This is a forum independent from Thecus. So this forum can deal with issues that are not officially supported by Thecus such as the many add on modules and users can support each other Thecus has an official support forum for bugs etc where an official request can be put in and they should respond: forums.hexus.net/thecus-care-hexus/

A quick note to those saying this is not an official support forum: If you read my previous post carefully, you will see that I filed an official support request with Thecus. THECUS: ARE YOU STILL SLEEPING?
