The LCD gives off too much light and is almost useless. I wish the LCD would auto turn off after, say, 30 seconds. When one of the front buttons are depressed the LCD would turn on until the front buttons are not depressed for more than 30 seconds.

If you press the esc button for some seconds, the light turn off. I think that if you put the n3200 in a local server, when pass near and look inside the admin would like to see the displayed informations about raid heath, temperaturature ecc. So it is good that the light stay on on default and could be turned off by holding the esc button.

Thank you so much. That helped a lot. The HD LED are still hideous, but a least they do illuminate the room.  |
