So after about 30 days or so of running my NAS, it starts to run really slow. The only fix is to reboot it. When I look at the logs, this is what I see:
2008/07/14 20:48:02 area51 : [Sysdown Fail] Swap Disk can't Stop!
Any idea why this is happening or how to fix it? I have the N5200BR with three 500GB drives in RAID5.

What modules do you have installed?

Im not an expert at sorting through the logs that are available on this device. But seeing as this is an error that takes a month to surface your gonna have a task trying to pinpoint it.
My guess is it would be the USHARE app causing it. Next time the situation arises, log in and disable that module and see if it clears things up. Or try a different Media Server. My guess is he's the culprit but pinpointing a slow growing issue may be hard.

I just got this same error message "Swap Disk can't Stop" for the first time. To help pinpoint the problem, here is what I am running:
Thecus N4100PRO Firmware 3.04.03 (recently upgraded)
Running Services: SMB/CIFS FTP Media Server
Modules: Twonkymedia 1.0.0 (recently added, not actively using it) Rsync_Backup 1.0.2 (recently added, not actively using it) MySQL_5 1.00.02 (has been running for months)
I suspect the problem may be with FTP as I got this message after restarting my NAS because FTP wasn't working and I couldn't get into the admin, but the SMB file server was still running fine.
Also note: It appears that the NAS and FTP server had been up for 40 days before the FTP stopped working.
