How to submit SSH Module for N4100

I ported the SSH v4.1 N4100Plus module to N4100 firmware v1.3.06.
How can i submit it to the user group and/or wiki ?

would also be very much interested in that module. Can you please send it e.g. as private message or upload it somewhere?

You where looking for a place to store it, well, I guess the onbeat.dk/thecus/ wiki would be a good place to store a link on the file using the onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/Module_Template. But you'd still need some webspace somewhere to make the file accessible via http.

Otherwise: How did you patch the module? I downloaded the files from www.freeside.ch/thecus/ - but I didn't find a way to unpack / decypher the SSH.app to edit the install.rdf...
How can I decipher the $MODULE.app into $MODULE.mod when I'm don't have SSH yet? And what is the appropriate line in the install.rdf - <md:NasType>N4100</md:NasType> ?

I'm also stuck on adapting a n2100 or n4100+ app to n4100.

Did you have any luck with this yet?

Maby someone else can provide us with the steps for converting a app file between the different models.

Hi all,

I had a few days off and no d**n internet access !


Jumpm (thecususergroup.proboards106.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=jumpm) should made the module available in the wiki somehow (onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N4100_Module_List).

Mean while, it is stored here : thecus.nas.free.fr/Ftp/N4100/Modules/N4100-SSH-4.1.00.tar


toftager: regarding the N4100PLUS-UTILS-1.2.00.tgz module, changing the module signature did not work (but I did not fully test it, only changed the signature and try to install - I did not try more than 1 minute).

How did you patch the module?
I used these : onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N2100_Module_Development, svn.debian.org/wsvn/d-i/trunk/installer/doc/devel/hardware/arm/thecus/firmware?op=file&rev=0&sc=0, www.freeside.ch/thecus/n4100plus/iReadMe.txt ... and this www.thecus.com/products_over.php?cid=10&pid=8
