Hi, I've installed MOBLOCK on a N4100+ Frimware 2.00.05. When I try to start the module (via command line, because there is not enough feedback via web interace) i got following error messages: insmod: cannot insert `/lib/modules/2.6.20/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/iptable_filter.ko': Invalid module format (-1): Exec format error insmod: cannot insert `/lib/modules/2.6.20/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ipt_state.ko': Invalid module format (-1): Exec format error insmod: cannot insert `/lib/modules/2.6.20/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_conntrack.ko': Invalid module format (-1): Exec format error insmod: cannot insert `/lib/modules/2.6.20/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_tables.ko': Invalid module format (-1): Exec format error insmod: cannot insert `/lib/modules/2.6.20/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_queue.ko': Invalid module format (-1): Exec format error iptables v1.3.1: can't initialize iptables table `filter': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?) Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded. .... ....
and after a while the process dies. There were some wrong paths which I have changed in several file (module.rc and MoBlock.sh: /lib/modules/2.6.9-n2100/kernel/net/ipv4/ to /lib/modules/2.6.20/kernel/net/ipv4 for example)
Can anyone help me with this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Either you've installed the wrong module (what I don't believe) or obviously the kernel modules are not compatible with the kernel running on the N4100+. There is one thing what makes me 100% sure that this module won't run on the N4100+: you were telling that you had to adjust the path from /lib/modules/2.6.9-n2100/kernel/net/ipv4/ to /lib/modules/2.6.20/kernel/net/ipv4. From that the N2100 uses a 2.6.9 kernel and the N4100+ uses a 2.6.20 kernel. You'll never be able to run the modules compiled for one kernel inside another kernel version. Did you treid to contact the module owner? He is the final judge... Andreas
