The thing I love about my N3200 is all that storage space and utilities in a single tidy box, with no keyboard, monitor, or flaky operating system.
It's reassuring to have raid 5, but I'm still shafted if someone steals the unit or I have a fire.
What I'd like to be able to do is run another device (NAS) in a sepeate building on the same network, and have my N3200 perform nightly incremental backups to this other storage. But what I don't want, is to introduce a PC or Server. I'm thinking eitehr a module on the N3200, or the other device to be configurable to point itself at the N3200 and pull data across (ftp, smb, nfs, doesn't matter which)
Does this make sense? Perhaps somethign exists out there for one of the other thecus products that can be modified?
