I've spend now a few hours on it. i've removed azureus module from the NAS and installed on it again, And updated everything except plugin version of azsmrc and core patch.
I think the problem i got was the plugin version of azsmrc to 1.0.0

I also cannot connect to via AzSMRC after install the new AzSMRC plugin.
If anyone works out how to solve this problem (without uninstalling and reinstalling) could you please let me know?
... Until then I guess I will just use the web gui and watch folder.
Thanks =P.. I'll post a solution if I find one first!

unforunatley the v1 of the azsrmc plugin needs a later version of the java runtime, however if you upgrade to this runtime azureus itself will not work This is caused by the bundled libs in the thecus firmware and at the moment there is no way around it. So if you wish to get azsrmc working again I'm afraid you'll have to remove and re-install the azur module.

Drewy maybe it is wise to edit your azureus web module tutorial on your website to warn people who use azsmrc remote plugin to not update to version 1 if they want to keep working with the remote plugin. Furthermore excellent job on the module and your help on the forum, thanks

Of course I backed up the old 0.9.9 plugin directory so just copying the old one back over works as well (no complete reinstall required). Too bad.

On a related note I discovered that during one of the remote updates to the azuerus core via azsrmc (that all seemed to work OK twice now) the safepeer plugin was also updated from 2.5.1 to 2.5.2. It appears there was a packaging error in 2.5.2 (the jar was half the size) and it quietly failed halfway through initializing: azureus.sourceforge.net/plugin_details.php?plugin=safepeerIn any event I was running without protection for months until I discovered this. You can either drop in the 2.5.3 jar or, since there appear to be no substantive changed since 2.5.1, you can drop back to 2.5.1 which should still be in that directory. I did the latter though the gross hack of just renaming the old backup of 2.5.1 to 2.5.2. ;D So, *heads up* and check if your safepeer plugin is working!

Thanks for the tip on how to get it working directly. Safepeer, other than that buggy update, still seems to work fine though. You can watch the log update, export to IpFilter, and block. I think it's probably OK for now but I'll tweak it sometime. Thanks again!

Hi,
Just trying to get this module working properly. I've installed it, got it working (sort of), files are downloaded successfully. However, I can't locate the downloaded files... According to AzSMRC the completed files are located in /raid0/data/torrents. I have tried moving them using the AzSMRC to another location however that doesn't seem to work.
I'm new to the Thecus (and a linux novice) so I presume I just have the folder structure wrong? I have created a torrents folder using the Thecus webUI.
Any assistance and advice welcome.
In terms of versions, I've got AzSMRC 0.9.9 and Azureus version 3.0.5.0.
Thanks

did u create the /raid0/data/torrents folder before installing AZUR? As it happens I created /raid0/data/Torrents however the files were being downloaded to /raid0/data/torrents. Once I renamed the folder everything worked a treat. Thanks for the assistance drewy.

Drewy - First off, fantastic mod!!!
Has anyone got SSL working on the mod at all, if so would they mid explaining how?
Edit - I don't know why I bothered to do this but decided to upgrade to 3.1.1.0 and followed your instructions Drewy of waiting 10-20 mins after the download finished (actually waited 30) but after stopping and starting AZUR I get the following message "Disable Module AZUR fail" and can't connect either via AzsMRC or the web interface. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling AZUR a couple of times but hasn't helped.
