I want to chime in and say I have been using this modules for a few months now and it is badass, a HUGE improvement over the other torrents mods for the 5200
However, just yesterday I came back from a week long trip to find this error when I try to bring up the Az web admin page:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
I think this may have happened because I had over 80 torrents running at the same time, some quite large. Now even if I restart the mod I still can't get it to work, any suggestions?
I know that there is a way to execute java programs with command line modifier to dedicate more memory but how could I do that with a module?

you can modify the shell script that starts up the azureus client, can't remember what the script is off the top of my head but will post back later....

the file you want is /raid0/data/module/AZUR/Shell/module.rc
line 31 starts up azureus: /raid/data/module/AZUR/system/bin/jre/bin/java -jar /raid/data/module/AZUR/system/bin/azureus/Azureus2.jar --ui=console >/dev/null 2>&1 </dev/null &
try passing the parms you need to the JRE by modding this.

I'm the first to admit that I'm not a azureus "power user" so don't really know too much about all the vatious settings that could effect this. I just use it for the ocassional download and it "seems" to work fine. Can anyone else offer any words of wisdom?

Ok so I added -Xms64m -Xmx192m to that command line , I am going to monitor the WebUI off and on for the next 24hours and see if there are any further errors. More on this here: hausheer.osola.com/docs/5Also, I started getting a "too many open files" error a while back so I increased the 5200's default file handles to 75000, no more errors (so far!), here is more on that: www.cyberciti.biz/faq/linux-increase-the-maximum-number-of-open-files/the file you want is /raid0/data/module/AZUR/Shell/module.rc line 31 starts up azureus: /raid/data/module/AZUR/system/bin/jre/bin/java -jar /raid/data/module/AZUR/system/bin/azureus/Azureus2.jar --ui=console >/dev/null 2>&1 </dev/null & try passing the parms you need to the JRE by modding this.

Well no more memory errors but the "too many open files" error came back right away, looks like it may be related to this error: www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Too_many_open_filessince I have so many torrents open that I am bumping up against the 1024 file ceiling, any idea how I can incorporate the ulimit command into the run script to increase the file limit? Ok, just in case anyone is interested, I figured out that the default file limits (this includes files AND open sockets connections) is 1024 on the Thecus. In order to raise this limit for the AZUR mod I inserted "ulimit -n 8000" in the module startup script. My understanding is that this raises the file limit only for the "child" process, i.e. azureus, and not the entire system. So far so good, I suppose this will probably only be a problem for people handling torrents with many files (some of my torrents have 500 files inside). sounds good, did it help with your problem?

anyone still have issues with the torrent downloading? I am able to add the torrent fine to the AzSMRC server, but it won't download (even though it is saying that its downloading). Has anybody figured out what could cause this download issue?
My setup:
WAN: 10.0.1.250 (Connected to router; this IP is static on the Thecus) LAN: 192.168.1.200 (Not connected to anything)
No load balancing or IP sharing.
The router that I am using is a Apple Airport Extreme 802.11n Wi-Fi. I have created a port mapping for my WAN connection and with the correct UDP/TCP port. I don't think my router is a issue because I am able to BT fine with a regular Azureus client on my MacBookPro. I also have the latest version of the AZUR module created by drewy.

Which ports do you have forwarded on the router? I have mine setup with a static IP and I download fine. I had to setup two port routings, one witha range of 6884-6886 (something in this area, I'm not home to check right now) and a second at the TCP/UDP port that Azureus creates.

um... I've just gone through the web access to my box on port 6886 from work (ie my dyndns url:6886) and the azureus uwe just pops up even though I'm not logged in or anything?!!!!!!
This is a pretty serious issue, if anyone can just see what I'm downloading!!!!
Is there something I've missed here?
Edit: I had opened the ports through my BT Home Hub for Azureus but I just removed that and it's still downloading, so problem solved :0)
