I'm more than willing to try and get to the bottom of these problems. You'll notice that after the post you quoted, I had asked some questions. Unfortunatley I never got responses to these If you can respond to these questions, I will try and help.

hello drew
i have installed this and had the same problem as a lot of people but this is just down to netwotk setting as far as i can see.
once i had set the box to be on a DHCP IP all work fine so i think the problem for a lot of people is there also you need to forwared ports to the box, if people do this i sure it will work for then as this is a very good program.
is there any way you could do a updated version with some plugins in it like the RSS feeds would be cool to given them a go.
the only problem i have now with mine is once the files are down loaded they dont show in the upload list but they are still seeding

cheers Spikey. The netowrk settings or port forwarding would have been must best guess to the source of the problems. I've must admit I haven't looked at any other plugins, but will do when I get some time. I also intend to post a set of instructions on how to rebuild the mod with an updated version of azureus. It's realy easy to do this and should be well within the grasp of most users....and it'll save me posting an updated mod file everytime I get around to updating azureus

Thanks 4 Azureus mod ! ROI on Thecus is getting better !
I'm just trying to squeeze out a bit more, wondering how i can install plugins to the Azureus installation ?
I am a Linux Noob, Anywho, i have SSHD, SysUser Modules installed so i can copy files to the /root, so i found where you had placed the safepeer module and i placed speedscheduler + statusmailer but the POS doesn't detect the new modules (Restart NAS, dis/enable azur Module), also I copied the Modules from my plugins dir on windows installation but that didn't work either.
I have looked on Sourceforge site re installing Azur mods & it states "Create a directory called 'plugins/azstatusmailer' in the Azureus installation folder and UNZIP the file into it." + something similar for Speed mod.
If anyone could please explain or point me in the general direction of an answer how to get these azureus modules to work.
PS; In thread Drewy you mention you are going to document how to update Azureus, i just used AzSRMC (*menu item* Remote / Check for Updates for Server / *follow dialogs* / *WAIT 2 Min* / Dis/Enable Azur Module) Now running 3.0.5.2.
Your module was easy to install, configure & run, I thank you for your time bringing this great mod to the N5200.
Enjoy

So i got the modules to show up in AzSMRC, copied modules to /raid0/data/module/AZUR/system/bin/azureus/.azureus/plugins
status mailer is showing up but settings are not being saved, speed scheduler does not show config page or stop downloading according to the schedule.

I have the module loaded, and like many people, I can do everything, but the torrent download doesn't start. I have seen the notes for DHCP working, but for various reasons, I want to have a static IP address. Has any one got the module to work on a static IP? What ports need to be forwarded?
Thanks

if you have a look under connection in axsmrc it will show you the port mine is set at 23565. i think it may have something to do with my router that i never got to it to work with a static IP.
i think the only way to get it to work it with the DHCP

Took me a little bit, but I got the right ports forwarded, it is now working with a static IP.
Thanks

Now that I have it running, one of the plug-ins that I use the most is Speed Scheduler. I limit the upload speed during the day and leave it unlimited at night.
Is this plug-in available for the this module? If so, how can I add it?
Thanks

spikey has been having a go at getting speedscheduler to work, I think without success. I've just this minute had a go too, also without any success. It shows up in the list of plugins but don't actually do anything. As far as I can tell it won't run in console mode which is what the azureus client is running in on the thecus, so probably a dead end on that one.

Thanks, it looks like I will have to manually remember to free up the uploading at night.
Thanks
