Having read the threads here I want to upgrade from v1.0.5 but preserve my ssh backdoor. It seems I should not go newer than 2.0.5 but cannot seem to find it. Where are old firmware releases?
Alternatively, is there a novice Linux guide to preserving ssh access - I read the wiki about installing a new module and my head hurt!

There is a SSH module that can be installed. I am using it with the latest firmware.
There is a forum post about modules.

Hi John
I looked at that and it looked confusing - although as I can't seem to access the SSH backdoor anyway, I seem to be stuck.

If you can login to the n2100 via the web page, installing the module is very easy.
You do not need to use the old ssh/telnet connection with the newer module. However you may need to upgrade first.
What SSH prorgam are you using?

I'll PM you a link to some old firmware (2.1.05).
As I said in the other thread you should give the allnet conversion method a go.
