have been running my N299 for about 6 weeks, latest firmware v 1.00.24, and for no reason 2 weeks ago, the system stopped showing the download manager page, its still on the menu but when you try to open it, explorer errors cant display page. I have had this error logged with the help desk now for 2 weeks, with no progress, they have admitted I am not the only case, I have also asked for some feed back on the issue, and got nothing.
any body else had similar issues

I am also having the same problem. Mine started with the previous firmware version and I updated to 1.00.24 in an attempt to resolve the issue. Nothing I have tried so far has worked. My support ticket has not been touched in almost 2 weeks and I have had no response from Thecus support at all. I'm at the point I'll be returning the unit for a refund if I don't hear something soon

I have the same problem and Thecus is working on it. They have access to my N299 and found out that some kind of file of the download manager is damaged.
With the firmware 1.00.26 the page for the download manager can also be unavailable.
I hope that they will fix it soon.
P.S. They wanted me to open the port 9596. Does anyone know which Linux tool uses this port.

Hi, port 9596 is often named to be used by Mercury Discovery... what ever that might be...

Same here Power was cut off and the device went down without shutdown. After turning it back on, the N199 download's manager page dissapeared. I've uploaded new FW (.26) and set NAS to default settings - the problem is still there.

I too have this proble, first time I tried to use it. Added a couple of BT files to the queue ok, added an HTTP download for MS's silvelight SDK, clicked the OK butto and poof, no more download manager. Great!

You need to switch to factory default settings. Then download page appear. No data lost (mine JBOD).
Just say - did your BT upload data from N299? Mine not.
