Hi mates, there are some updates to the modules at the Thecus Wiki NFSEXPORT: this module now works together with FW 2.00.04 UTILS: added the script ut_iscsi which can mount existing ISCSI targets and create new ISCSI targets based on files SHUTDOWN: bug fixes so it should work now reliably As always feedback is highly appreciated Have fun, Andreas

Shutdown: As I mailed you, the module only works for me after I reboot the machine. If I don'T reboot and want to either shutdown or reboot via ssh, it tells me that it will do either but then it doesn't and only won't allow me to ssh into the machine again Minor problem, just might need mentioning.

Yes, you're right: it seems that after installing the shutdown module the first time the shutdown/reboot doesn't really work. I wasn't be able to find the reason for this yet. The simple workaround for this is to reboot the N5200 via the WEB interface after the SHUTDOWN module installation. After this reboot everything should work without issues.... Andreas

Is the path to the Utils working after reboot now?

Yes, I fixed that in the new version But if you're already logged in via SSH before you installed the UTILS module, you need to login again.... Andreas

I hope you, Omega, still read this forum from time to time... seems the new Firmware broke the shutdown/reboot module. Can you, or anyone else fix this?
Thanks

The path/location of the internal scripts have changed - if You are familiar with linux and vi thats an easy change You can do by yourself - I will look into it on the weekend if nobody else changes it. br Peter

sorry, not very familiar with both linux and vii, I can follow instructions, though But an updated module would be much better, even though at times, I wonder if I'm the only one who uses it

The new version of the SHUTDOWN module (2.00.04) is available for download now. This version works on FW 2.01.09 and higher, but not on previous versions of the FW. br Peter

Tried it last night and it works fine again. It still needs a reboot after install to work correctly and I wasn't sure if installin over the old module works, since it didn't upgrade the version number when I installed it over, so I just uninstalled and reinstalled the new module. Thanks for your work!

Thanks for Your feedback. You always have do to a uninstall and then new install on the modules - I don't know any module which supports the upgrade.

It's been to long since I had to update a module, so I've not remembered if you could upgrade one
