I am still trying to get the APC agent working on my 5200.
I put Sun Java's install, jre-1_5_0_11-linux-i586.bin and moved it to my /raid/data/tmp directory, executed chmod +x file.bin, followed by ire-1_5_0_11-linux-i586.bin, it says the device is full, is there so little room on the 5200's static drive?
DF shows plenty of room but I am a linux noob so I might not be looking at the right thing.
I also have APC's pbe_agent_linux_jvm.bin but it says it needs java, so I am getting closer.
Any advice?

Hi greybard,
you can't just run the java installer on the N5200. It will try to install some of the binaries to directories which are read-only on the N5200 and therefore the error message does make sense.
The only way is to run the installer on a ordinary linux system and then copy all the files to the N5200. But this will be most likely not so easy though....
Maybe there are some command line flags to tell the installer that all the files are to be installed to a non-standard place? You should check this as this would be the most easiest solution....

I'm not 100% sure that you can get java to run.. but let me know if this helps:
With the jdk, which does include the jre, you can just do a direct filecopy - assuming the proper linux native libraries are installed.
I would take another linux box, install the java jdk, and copy that directory over to the thecus. Then ssh into the thecus box and try running the java command. It *might* work, you may even be able to get it to compile java files.
