Great news that people are looking at this (Thanks for the suggestion Jake) - Kniteowl... Would it still be too heavy even if you upgraded the ram on the N5200... Or is it just too cpu hungry? Getting the BT module to work in the N5200 would be a great solution..... Hope you (or anyone else) can dig out some source code resources.... ;D Thanks in advance for all your efforts! QR

I think, the best solution is the Advanced ctorrent, with own web interface. I working on it, but i can't compile the ctorrent statically...

You don't need to compile it statically, it runs on my N5200 dynamically too. Just copy the needed shared libs into the same directory as for the ctorrent executable and set the environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH to that directory. The ctorret works then like a charm.... If you want a start script, the libraries and the ctorrent executable from me, please send me PM. Andreas

Thanks, but i working on a brand new firmware based OpenWRT x86 port... I hate the thecus's own firmware.... Openwrt is a good, modular, customizeable embedded distribution...

The link doesn't seem to work. I wonder how the BitTorrent module is progressing. Has anyone a package that is easy to install? I have no expeirience in programing. The Bubba fileserver www.excito.com/products.html uses a neat technology. You simply put a torrent file in a designated folder and the download starts. Its good enough for me. Thanks Lopar

The link is correct but this forum HTML code doesn't show the link in a correct way. Either you copy the complete link to the address field of your web browser or go to the module page at the Thecus Wiki here onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N5200_Module_List and then open the Python subpage. The basic ctorrent for downloading torrents works on my N5200 in a manual mode. Still the code for the HTML interface is not finished. Unfortunately Thecus hasn't replied on my request to send me the source code for the P2P program.... If I find some time, I'll try to continue my work.... but I'll be on a business trip soon which lasts at least 2 month.... Andreas
