But I'm still missing someone from Thecus who officially supports Thecus users, e.g. in this forum here..... --snip-- and the "Thecus User Group" is an unofficial forum, why we have no official reply from here, they suggest the official forum forum.thecus.net/ to instead.............. Hi ifr So I presume you are a Thecus official that has realised there is significantly more activity on this forum than your own and are trying to convert us to your official forum? If that is the case, does that mean you guys will respond to questions and calls for support then? Because quite honestly I think we use this forum because we know we'll get some response. I'm willing to give the official forum a fair go tho.

I understand Thecus position that support requests are either addressed to the Thecus support mail address or posted in their own forum. So please mates, don't only write your errors or suggestions here! Please do Thecus and us a favour and send them a copy of your issues and tell them that they can read more about your issue here. But every manufacturer deserves feedback of their customers: positive and negative ones!! But: this forum is a very active forum and the last time I've checked the official Thecus forum is was almost dead (and almost no answers from Thecus which is the most important thing). And while we are talking about the Thecus forum: - I tried to get to the forum starting from the Thecus home page www.thecus.com. Can someone please show me the link to the official Thecus forum? I haven't found it just now and even though I've overlooked it in my opinion it should be placed at a central position! - Just now I tried to access the official Thecus forum using forum.thecus.net but the connection request times out.... So Thecus (I know that you hear me ), this is a very active and attractive forum. You missed the chance to create such an forum yourself. Now take the chance and participate here and help your customers Andreas

- Just now I tried to access the official Thecus forum using forum.thecus.net but the connection request times out.... Yeah, I just tried it again now and it's down So Thecus (I know that you hear me ), this is a very active and attractive forum. You missed the chance to create such an forum yourself. Now take the chance and participate here and help your customers Well put! Thecus, you can see you have an active community, even if it's not your official one. We've done more to help ourselves (well, Omega's done more to help ourselves) as far as developing modules and giving info on how to develop them, platforms, etc. than you have and we continue to ask for assistance. This "unofficial" forum probably has your biggest advocates and we want help you improve the product. Please help us to help you. Anyway, maybe this should have had its own thread but its too late now ;D

It is so ironic the forum.thecus.net/ connection times out.... but it is back to working now.... I agree with an active forum is a plus point for us to using Thecus product........... also we could let Thecus know what we need and what we went form the support@thecus.com & forums............

The official Thecus Forum is not very usable with frequent periods of non responsiveness. I can not see participating in that forum until the access and stability issue of the site are fixed. This user forum is more responsive and certainly more usable.

Yeah, I've posted messages to that effect over there and hopefully someone there reads them and does something about it. *shrug*
