There are allready some topics about this issue. There are two most obvious causes: 1-Bug of not cleaning up temporary files on DOM (flash memory) in firmware revision 1.00.x 2-Defective DOM
I would advise you to start with the firmware update to revision 2.00.01 or 2.00.04 (read the forum about some bugs in this revisions) and check if the unit still is having the same problem. If so, hopefully you'll have warranty and then get your DOM replaced by a new one.

After powering on tonight, i had no more connection over web-gui to the box. maybe i have to upgrade now over usb.
I have ordered a 2. Nas Box (n5200pro) as backup box. Can i put the 3 disks(raid5) into the new box, and still having access to the data ?

It's even not reachable after a cold boot (appr. 1 minute without power plugged in)? It's true that it gets worse and worse, also had it with a few boxes.
Your data will be safe when plugging the disks in a new box.

Yeah - i got access to my data again. ;D
First, over webgui, i tried to do an fw upgrade to 2.00.04 - but that stopped with an error message. Then i started an fw-upgrade to 2.00.01 and this time it worked.
All data are accessable and and there is no i/o error anymore. thanks alot !!!
