OK I finally got the stupid thing enabled, recognized and was able to go through the wizard and get everything set up.
Changed the default password to something simple, log into the web browswer interface.
I put in my simple password and it gives me an error saying invalid.
Am I missing something here ? does the password have to be a certain length ? I am dead in the water at this point any recommendations ? I have reset it several times and gone through the steps each time with the same result.
Thanks in advance,
leeland

What's your firmware version? How did you change your password? Thru the web UI or the setup wizard? how long was your password? I remember the password should be at least 4 characters. In the new firmware v2.1.0, when you press the reset button during booting, the IP address will change to 192.168.1.100, and you can go to the 192.168.1.100 to reset the machine.

well I got into the box finally by resetting it and using the admin:admin set up...
I tried to change it both ways...through the wizard...which failed...and when I did it in the Web UI it failed again. The firmware was 2.0.0 which I upgraded to the newest.
I just got done creating the RAID 1 so I am unsure if that needed to be done first and then the pw could be changed...I will have to do some more testing
